Laerdal Resusci Anne QCPR AED Torso in Carrying Case

The Resusci Anne QCPR AED torso is an adult manikin suitable for the LINK system. Using the special LINK electrodes, training can be conducted with devices like the Philips Heartstart FR2 and FR3 trainers. The LINK technology provides feedback to ensure correct electrode placement. Optional ShockLink software is also available for the manikin, enabling training with a 'real' AED instead of an AED trainer. The adult resuscitation manikin offers multiple feedback options that allow focusing on the students' competencies. The feedback devices provide clear insights to students on how to improve their performance. Additionally, the new software enables instructors to coach more effectively and save training results for later analysis. The manikin is packaged in a convenient carrying case, making it easy to transport. The carrying case also includes a soft pack training mat with an integrated pad for the trainee to place their knees on during training sessions.

Application of the LINK Technology

The QCPR AED resuscitation manikin from Laerdal is suitable for use with the LINK system. With the special LINK electrodes, training can be conducted with devices like the Philips Heartstart FR2 and FR3. The LINK technology provides feedback for assessing the correct placement of the electrodes. This technology is crucial for actions during a sudden cardiac arrest requiring an AED. Laerdal's LINK technology is the only system that detects correct electrode placement and sends events to the session timeline in the SimPad SkillReporter, which is optionally available with the manikin.

Key training aspects include:

  • Correct electrode placement
  • Time elapsed from performing high-quality resuscitation to placing the electrodes and delivering a shock

The LINK system can be used with the Laerdal AED Trainer II (94005004) and III (198-00150-ABH). It can also be used with other training devices, but the LINK function will not work. In such cases, a manikin without the LINK system is recommended.

Training with a 'Real' AED on the Resusci Anne QCPR AED

ShockLink is optionally available for Resusci Anne QCPR AED manikins. ShockLink technology connects common defibrillator brands with most resuscitation manikins or simulators, enabling realistic and standardized training. During a scenario, two different teams can easily train together as it's possible to switch between two different defibrillators. With ShockLink, there's no need to purchase a special training defibrillator or a new resuscitation manikin, significantly reducing the cost of implementing live defibrillation training.

Advanced Training Through Feedback Options

The Resusci Anne QCPR is a resuscitation manikin with digital feedback designed to facilitate the measurement and assessment of resuscitation performance. It can be used with multiple feedback devices. The wired SkillGuide can be connected to the left shoulder. The left side of the manikin has a built-in connection for wireless feedback devices. For clear training insights, the SimPad SkillReporter or SkillReporter app can be used. These feedback devices provide students with clear insights on how to improve their performance. The new software also enables instructors to coach more effectively and save training results for later analysis.

SkillReporter App

The SkillReporter App is designed for expert caregivers, offering advanced precision training for treating infants, children, and adults affected by cardiac arrest. The synergy between SkillReporter and the QCPR Resusci manikins allows instructors to guide caregivers towards perfect training, refining psychomotor skills, optimizing classroom efficiency, and providing individual objective feedback.

Extended Lifespan Through Periodic Maintenance

Intensive training with the resuscitation manikin causes wear and tear. To extend the lifespan of your QCPR manikin, Laerdal has designed the Resusci Anne QCPR Kit, providing a simple way to keep your training manikin ready and calibrated. It's recommended to install this kit after approximately 1,000,000 compressions.
